Well, we’ve been home now for 3 weeks and Etta has been taking some pictures of Evan as time has gone on. Here’s one for now and I’ll try to add more soon.

Hey all,

Just wanted to let everyone know that Evan Edward Spangler was born on Sunday 11/11/07 at 10:36am.  He was 7 lbs., 15oz and very healthy.  Both mom and baby are now doing well and everyone is home.  Sorry for the delay in posting this, but we both forgot our passwords for the site. :)  I’ll get some pictures posted soon for everyone to see.

Sorry, no new pics of Evan. We probably won’t have any more until he is out. I have had a few requests for a picture of my belly though. Evan is kicking, rolling and stretching all the time now. He is letting me know that he would like some more space. We set up his crib, but somehow he doesn’t seem to think that counts if he can’t be in it! It’s not my fault he can’t use it yet.

By the way in case you hadn’t noticed he has a name now. His name is Evan Edward Spangler.

Here are the latest images of our as yet unnamed son. (Peanut is no longer quite right since he weighs close to 12 oz.) The first two pictures are from the side; his hands are in front of his face.





This one is straight on, his mouth is open.



And here is one of his feet. The toes and ball of his other foot is just behind the other.



Here is the promised video. I was a little surprised because she recorded for a few minutes and we only got a few seconds. I will be calling them soon to see if there is anything they can do (short of having me come in again, although the thought crossed my mind.)

a boy! We got confirmation on Fri the 15th. We don’t have a name yet, but we are working on it…a bit….I swear. Oh and he kicks….a lot! He is as I type this in fact. He doesn’t like my laptop or something.

We’ll have new pics and possibly a video next week. Check back then!

On the 15th we went in and had pictures taken! The baby was healthy and developing well (and didn’t seem to appreciate all the attention, lots of kicking back). Since you can actually see something this time we decided to post our first baby picture. This is at 14.5 weeks. We still don’t know whether it’s a boy or girl, but we will find out on June 15th when we go in next (we hope!).
