Chris has lived in the Seattle area all of his life.  I moved here around the age of 9 and have stayed here since.  We met in college and married after graduation.  We graduated from the University of Washington in March of 2002.  Chris graduated with a BS in Computer Science and I graduated with a BA in Linguistics.  Chris now works at Microsoft in the Microsoft.com products group (don't ask, I hardly know what that means) and loves it.  He started there just before we got married.  I am self employed as a web designer and consultant.  You can check out some of my work at Seattle-Reflexology.com. Soon I will be studying to become a masseuse at Brenneke School of Massage. Family and friends have already started applying for the massage practice dummy position.

We currently live in Redmond, WA.  We really like the area we are in now because we are close to most of our family, it's convenient to our work and the area is gorgeous at all times of the year. Kai, Bess and Brandy love it because our condo is less than 5 minutes away from the dog park at Marymoor.

Kai was born on September 17, 2002.  We picked him up on December 7, 2002 finally putting an end to my daily mantra :"I want a puppy!"  Chris was really getting tired of that.  He is smart, snuggly, agile and a real stinker, but the cute times more than make up for the stinker moments (we have to remind ourselves of that occasionally).  We are both glad he has joined our family.  ("I want another puppy...").

And I got one!  Bess was born on February 12, 2004.  She is also a mini aussie and you can find out more about them both in their part of our website.  She has officially taken the title of stinker over from Kai.  She earned it with her interest in home redecorating.  Although lacking in style, she definitely has the demolition part down.  That image is from a year ago though and she has settled down since then, partly because we now also have....

Brandy.  Brandy in yet another mini aussie.  She was born in 2001 and belonged to my dad until he passed away last year.  She has adjusted well to life in Redmond.  All three dogs romp regularly and Brandy seems happy with us.
